“The likeness of those who spend their wealth in the Way of Allah, is as the likeness of a grain (of corn); it grows seven ears, and each ear has a hundred grains. Allah gives manifold increase to whom He pleases. And Allah is All-Sufficient, All-Knower.”[Al-Baqarah 2:261]

Boreholes have been an alternative source of water in areas, where there is no ready supply of fresh water. A borehole is a narrow shaft bored in the ground, either vertically or horizontally. Boreholes help give vulnerable individuals access to safe clean drinking water. This reduces deaths related to water-borne diseases, will improve quality of life, and help economically, and socially develop the region
The water shortage in the country also means that a large population of women and children spend up to one-third of their day fetching water in the hot sun from the nearest fresh water source. This backbreaking work leaves roughly half of the country's inhabitants vulnerable to serious dangers. In addition to exposure to the elements and the risk of attack by predators, the primary water gatherers are also the most susceptible to water-borne diseases.
This borehole will be installed in Ngatataek Kajiado, Kenya
Water is a necessity in many aspects of daily life such as drinking, bathing, hygiene, watering crops, cleaning homes, cleaning wounds, feeding livestock, etc
Water-borne diseases are the major causes of morbidity and mortality, particularly of children and women
