"When a human being dies, all of his deeds are terminated except for the three: an ongoing sadaqah, a knowledge (of Islam) from which others benefit, and a righteous child who makes du'a for him." - Hadith Sahih Muslim
By the grace of Allah, Aijaz Ahmed Khan left this world in the most beautiful of ways, at peace and surrounded by his loved ones. He lived a simple life for himself, but wanted the best for others. He only found the good in others and would extol their positive virtues. He constantly uplifted others with his kind words and always expressed his gratitude. Everyone who knew him, loved him. He lived Islam via his actions and so he lived his life by giving to others with his endless generosity and compassion. He was a simple man, yet an extraordinary human, father, brother, friend, husband, uncle and grandfather. He loved the presence of all children, always going down to their level and spoiling them with his attention and care. His greatest joy in life were his grandkids. Their first cry, first words, first step, first day of school, first sporting or academic achievement felt like the highlight of his world. His loss will make a profound impact on them, but InshAllah will push them forward into applying the lessons he left for us all. Let us make our scales heavier on the day of Judgement by donating towards his water well in Indonesia. Your donation and share to this post means a great deal. May Allah SWT grant my Aijaz Ahmed Khan Jannah tul Firdous and bless him to be in the audience of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. May Allah bless him to drink from al-Kauther, go back to his palatial home built from the marble of Paradise and gaze upon the Noor of Allah for eternity. Ameen!
Clean water is critical for the survival of human beings. With the threat of natural disasters this region requires continuous humanitarian assistance.
Indonesia is highly prone to natural disasters, especially earthquakes and tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, floods, droughts, landslides, and cyclones. The impacts of these disasters, including deaths, injuries, and other health risks, material losses, and destruction of public infrastructure, interfere with national development. More than 97% of Indonesians live in disaster-prone areas. Over 6.63 million people are in need due to these unstable conditions. The recent earthquakes have left 463,000 people are displaced.
When you help a family receive water the impact if far greater than you can imagine.
HHRD’s Water Tanking project requires boring 100 feet underground for water, which is pumped into a water tank to be used through taps. This project facilitates access to clean drinking water for families in need. Rather than spending the day searching for clean water sources beneficiaries now have the opportunity for an education, employment and a healthier lifestyle. In 2020, HHRD has helped 567,762 people receive clean drinking water worldwide.
With your support of this Sadaqa Jariyyah project, in honor of Aijaz Ahmed Khan, there is everlasting reward for him, and Insha’Allah for all those who participate in this noble cause.
