In a world where over 600 million people are living in extreme poverty, surviving on less than $2 per day, the harsh reality is heart-wrenching. Fortunately, the Skills Development and Livelihood Program signifies the beginning of a journey towards self-reliance and resilience. It doesn't merely impart knowledge; it instills hope. Together, let us bring a wave of transformation, breaking the cycle of poverty and leaving behind a legacy of empowerment and upliftment.
Last year, the Skills Development and Livelihood Program provided training to 10,690 individuals in Tailoring, Handicrafts, Henna, Catering, Driving, English, Marketing, Graphic Design, Computers, Web Development, Accounting, Construction, and more. Through learning employable skills, facilitating home-based income generating activities and developing links to the job market, beneficiaries witnessed their income levels rise, bringing them closer to the average gross net income of their respective countries. The impact was profound, as they moved towards self-sufficiency and financial stability.
