Every 3 seconds 1 person becomes forcibly displaced. Forcible displacement due to persecution, conflict, violence, and human rights violations have devastated the lives of 79.5 million people.
Syrians are the largest forcibly displaced population in the world with more than half of the Syrian population either fleeing the country or living in makeshift camps. This region has been marked with civil unrest, which has led to an unimaginable humanitarian crisis. There is a massive refugee population living below the poverty line.
In 2013 HHRD became a registered NGO in Jordan and has been actively engaged with 9 of its humanitarian programs which have helped well over 1 million people (including refugees) in Jordan, Lebanon and Tunisia.
