AJK has a mission to stand in solidarity with Kashmiris in their struggle for peace & freedom through community dialogue, awareness & engagement. Lets come together to support and save the lives of orphans in Kashmir .
There are an estimated 153 million orphans in the world. Of them, 15.1 million have lost both of their parents. Many live in horrific conditions, where the lack of basic necessities prevents them from moving forward in life.

The Donations Collected Will Provide Orphans

• Subsistence (includes monthly ration, clothes, hygiene kits)
• Education (includes school fee, books, school supplies and two uniforms)
• Health (includes medical checkups, immunizations)
• Social Uplift (includes extracurricular activities)
• Child Protection Rights (includes inheritance and family)

How You Can Make a Difference

Every day 5,700 children become orphans. HHRD has 24,100 registered orphans in over 20 countries where they are given the love and attention they deserve. Around 2,300 are waiting for sponsorship of which 117 are in Azad Jammu Kashmir

HHRD has a history of working on both sides of the LOC through seasonal programs such as Winter Relief, Global Qurbani, Ramadan Food, as well as in AJK the Orphan Support, Water for Life, Skills Development, and Medical In-Kind Gifts Program. HHRD provided immediate emergency relief services in the aftermath of the 2014 floods in Kashmir Valley, J-&-K and continues to serve the needs of internally displaced people.
