Water and Sanitation Hygiene (WASH):

Water borne diseases are rampant in areas where there are limited reserves and improper hygiene conditions. Improving access to safe drinking water, and making the habitation and environment cleaner is of paramount interest to each and every human being. Through donations to WASH we are able to:

  • - Provide basic hygiene and health education sessions
  • - Distribute hygiene kits
  • - Maintain water sanitation standards
  • - Install water purification systems
  • - Install safe household and public latrines

Water for Life:

WFL improves access to clean drinking water through installation of hand pumps, water filtration plants, construction of tube-wells, water wells, water storage tanks, and water supply schemes to meet basic and livelihood needs.

Recent Water Emergency Responses:

Hygiene Kits:

These kits were distributed in areas of natural disasters such as floods and earthquakes to combat the spread of water born diseases. Hygiene Kits include washing and bath soap, teeth cleaning sticks (miswak), towels, razors, combs, nail cutters, cotton rolls, aqua tablets, ORS and SODIS bottles (used to purify the water through sunlight).

Nepal Earthquake 2015: A total of 1,980 kits distributed

Afghanistan Landslide 2015: A total of 200 orphans given kits

Water for Life:

Water is indispensable in maintaining life; an adequate, safe and accessible supply of water is essential for the very survival of our world.

Kenya: The establishment of 4 shallow wells helped 2,632 individuals

Pakistan Chitral Floods 2015: Clean drinking water provided to 20,650 people
