Renovation for Palestinian Refugees Homes

We have been implementing a Home Renovation project since 2019 for most deprived needy families living in 13 Refugee camps with special focus to GAZA and SOUF Camps.
Many of the Palestinian Refugees as well as local poor Jordanians live in old homes which need maintenance. Some homes need construction of rooms, kitchens and bathrooms. As refugees and local families are unable to do this themselves, they keep on living in the same homes without sufficient space, repair and maintenance.
HHRD objective is to make better living quality to those families by making necessary renovation and improvement in their homes, so they feel better and live in a healthier environment.

Rebuilding Lost Dreams

Homes for Hope

On September 9th, 2023, a 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck Central Morocco. Approximately 5,000 homes have been partially or completely destroyed. A month later, a 6.3-magnitude earthquake struck Afghanistan on October 7th, 2023, devastating eight villages. There were thousands of casualties, and hundreds of homes and buildings sustained extensive damage. Families living in earthquake-affected regions face precarious living conditions. HHRD has worked to provide emergency provisions, homes, and caravan homes to help earthquake victims rebuild their lives.

A Safer Tomorrow

Support Refugees

In regions like Bangladesh, Jordan, Lebanon, vulnerable populations, including Syrians, Palestinians, and Rohingya, live in poorly constructed structures in impoverished camps. Urgent maintenance, renovation, and provision of caravan homes are necessary. Zaatari camp, the largest refugee camp in Jordan for Syrians, has become a settlement where families strive for normalcy. HHRD's Caravan Homes project provides protection against harsh elements, ensuring a life of dignity and health. Each HHRD-provided caravan measures (6x3) meters, featuring galvanized C18 sections (1.8mm thick) for the base and internal C14 sections.

Right to Education

Necessities for a Brighter Future

With the cooperation of the Education Ministry, HHRD MENA (Middle East and North Africa) provides learning centers/classrooms along with restrooms, necessary furniture, and amenities, for refugee children and as relief for Jordan’s already overcrowded classrooms. Building these centers helps to facilitate out of school refugee children with access to primary elementary education that will help them pass the national tests required to enroll in formal schools.
